On June 21, Douala welcomed 21 French wine and spirits producers as part of the Cameroon sequence of TASTIN’FRANCE 2023.
Over 40 local players – importers, buyers, distributors, wine merchants, hoteliers and restaurateurs – were present.
Cameroon is one of the leading wine importers in sub-Saharan Africa, with imports estimated at 33.6 million euros in 2022. France is Cameroon’s leading supplier, with a market share of over 70%.
The TASTIN’FRANCE is a much-awaited event for the local business community, who come out every year to meet the producers and discover the selections of wines and spirits on offer. Once again this year, Business France Cameroun was able to count on the presence of loyal and important operators in the sector.
