France, investing massively in its industrial sector

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, unveiled the “France 2030” investment plan on 12th October 2021, focusing on France’s key industrial sectors for 2030. Faced with the challenge of ecological transition, the plan, drawn up with other European nations, aims to support the transformation of critical sectors in the French economy: automotive, aerospace, digital, green industry, biotechnology, culture and healthcare. The €30 billion budget is spread over the next five years, with €3-4 billion already spent in 2022. The plan aims to help France live better and produce better by 2030.
