Angola: Angola is the 6th economy in sub-Saharan Africa and the 12th most populated country in sub-Saharan Africa (36 million inhabitants). The upper middle class, the Angolan elite, and the expatriate population represent between 3 and 5 million people who are consumers of wines and spirits. The economic outlook is on the rise again and the clientele is growing both for GMS and for Food service.

Cameroon: The wine and spirits market in Cameroon continues its rise. We recorded an increase of 14.3% on imports in 2023. You will also be able to take advantage of the arrival in Cameroon of buyers from Gabon and Congo – Brazzaville.

Gabon: Gabon is ranked among the largest consumers of champagne in Africa (10th). In 2023, imports for this product are estimated at more than EUR 3 million.

Congo Brazzaville: As for Congo Brazzaville, the consumption of wines and spirits in general, and champagne in particular, is growing year after year. The country is ranked 8th importer of champagne in Africa.

Nigeria: In Nigeria, the continent’s leading economy and an essential giant of Africa, the extremely dynamic wine and spirits market has doubled in volume and tripled in value over the last ten years.

South Africa: Dynamic and open to the world, South Africa is a real economic springboard for the rest of Africa where growth prospects remain real. Several opportunities are available for exports of French wines to South Africa.
