37 French companies mobilised by Business France for the Business Mission in Nigeria, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire
Business France will lead a delegation of 37 French companies as part of the Business Mission to Nigeria, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, taking place from 28 October to 4 November 2026. This multi-sector mission aims to support French companies in exploring three of Africa’s most dynamic economies, with a view to strengthening commercial, industrial and technological partnerships.
The initiative comes at a time of strong regional economic growth and expanding trade relations between France and West African economies. The programme will enable participating companies to meet public and private-sector decisionmakers, identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships in strategic sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, cosmetics, technology, agriculture, services and sport.
The mission will begin in Nigeria, Africa’s third-largest economy and home to more than 220 million people. Participating companies will benefit from a programme of tailored business meetings with local partners, distributors and prospective clients.
The delegation will then continue to Senegal, where several key events are planned, including the Teranga Business Day and the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). Alongside a programme of business meetings, these events will provide companies with further opportunities to enhance their visibility, expand their networks and develop new business in a highly visible media environment.
Finally, the mission will conclude in Côte d’Ivoire, one of the leading economic hubs in French-speaking Africa. Companies will benefit from an enhanced programme of targeted one-to-one meetings designed to accelerate their market-entry, partnership and business development projects, both in Côte d’Ivoire and across the wider sub-region.
The size of the region and the diversity of its three economies are generating significant demand for industrial, energy, digital, healthcare and agri-food solutions. Companies in the delegation will have the opportunity to showcase technologies that contribute to infrastructure modernisation, the development of telecommunications and energy networks, the strengthening of local production capacity, site security and the delivery of services tailored to large-scale markets. They will also benefit from tailored business meetings with potential partners, distributors and clients.
Throughout the mission, participants will receive support from Business France teams and the Team France Export network. Preparatory meetings, local market briefings, networking sessions and qualified business meetings will be organised to maximise the impact of the mission. Companies will therefore have the opportunity to connect with key stakeholders across local business ecosystems while benefiting from market intelligence and expert advice to support and secure their international development.
Through this mission, Business France reaffirms its commitment to strengthening economic relations between France and West Africa. Nigeria, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire are priority markets for French companies, offering significant growth opportunities in a regional environment characterised by accelerating investment, urbanisation and economic transformation.
