7 innovative French companies are getting ready to enter the Nordic energy transition market.
From 12 to 14 June 2024, the first immersion phase of the GROW GLOBAL NORDIC BOOSTER programme will be held in Stockholm. This long-term support programme is backed by the French government and organised by Business France, the national agency for the internationalisation of the French economy.

From 12 to 14 June 2024, the first immersion phase of the GROW GLOBAL NORDIC BOOSTER programme will be held in Stockholm. This long-term support programme is backed by the French government and organised by Business France, the national agency for the internationalisation of the French economy. The programme aims to promote the international growth and development of high-potential companies offering forward-looking technologies or disruptive innovations in the fields of energy and environmental transition.
The Grow Global Nordic Booster is part of the France 2030 national strategic plan launched by the French government, which aims to transform the country’s economy through innovation and environmental transition. With a budget of €54 billion over five years, the programme focuses on several key areas: decarbonising the industry, promoting renewable energies, supporting research and technological innovation, and developing key industrial sectors of the future such as green hydrogen, sustainable mobility and health.
With carbon neutrality targets for 2050 that are among the most ambitious in the world and massive investment in renewable energies, the Nordic countries are on their way to be at the heart of Europe green industry. They represent a land of opportunity for innovative companies looking to expand into challenging new economic markets.
Thanks to this high-level strategic support programme which runs for nine months and is divided into three phases – ‘Preparation’, ‘Projection’ and ‘Continuity’ – the participating French companies will be able to acquire in-depth knowledge of the Nordic markets. This will enable them to adapt their strategy to meet their mid- and long-term operational and financial objectives, build up a solid network of local partners, and establish a long-term presence thanks to ongoing monitoring and anchoring services.
Seven companies are taking part in the programme:
- AMPERE: AMPERE offers innovative solutions designed to make recharging electric vehicles safer and cheaper.
- GREENLY: GREENLY is a specialist in platforms for assessing, measuring and processing companies’ carbon footprints. Backed by a team of climate experts, GREENLY enables organisations to implement a tailor-made decarbonisation strategies.
- HAFFNER ENERGY: The company is developing the HYNOCA® process for producing green hydrogen from biomass by thermolysis.
- METEORAGE: A leader in meteorological risk prevention, METEORAGE provides storm detection and forecasting services to secure infrastructures.
- PONTICELLI FRERES : Expert in industrial maintenance, PONTICELLI FRERES offers management and optimisation services for energy installations to maximise their efficiency.
- TOP INDUSTRIE : TOP INDUSTRIE is a leader in the field of high pressure and temperature, providing complete and innovative solutions for various industrial sectors. TOP INDUSTRIE produces valves, fittings, autoclaves, pressure vessels and accessories for pressure ranges from 50 to 1000 bars.
- VERKOR: is a pioneering company in the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles based on lithium-ion technology with a high level of recyclability.
For 2 days, the seven companies will be in Stockholm, where they will meet key players in the Swedish market and pitch their solutions. They will also be taking part in a Forum on Energy Transition, organised by Business France in partnership with Business Sweden and Svenskt Näringsliv. Opened by Secretary of State Christian Danielsson, the event will bring together nearly a hundred local decision-makers. Benoît Lemaignan, CEO of Verkor, and Warren Brower, Executive Vice President Business Development of Haffner Energy, will be talking about France’s initiatives within the framework of France 2030. The session will end with a networking session enabling companies to establish new contacts with Nordic businesses.
At the end of August, they will travel to Stavanger, Norway, for another session of meetings with Nordic players, at the ONS trade fair. During the projection phase in the autumn, the companies will also have the opportunity to return to Sweden and travel to Finland and Denmark for targeted B2B meetings.
This exceptional support programme is a unique opportunity for French companies involved in the energy and environmental transition to establish a long-term presence and succeed in the Nordic markets.
