14 French brands showcase fashion, beauty, fragrance, tableware and gourmet expertise in a unique two-month pop-up experience
Pardon My French will bring together 14 French lifestyle brands for a unique two-month pop-up experience at Depart.A.Mental, located in the Designers Gallery on Level 1 at Westfield Mall of Scandinavia. From 15 October to 15 December 2026, Swedish consumers and industry professionals will be invited to discover a curated selection of fashion, beauty, fragrance, tableware and gourmet products showcasing the diversity of contemporary French savoir-faire.
Organised by Business France in partnership with Depart.A.Mental, the showcase will transform the concept store into a celebration of contemporary French lifestyle, bringing together brands spanning fashion, accessories, jewellery, beauty, fragrance, tableware and gourmet products. Depart.A.Mental is a shared department store concept founded and operated by Swedish retail technology company Co-X.
For a limited period of two months, visitors to Pardon My French will be invited to immerse themselves in a uniquely French universe where heritage, craftsmanship, creativity and innovation come together to showcase the richness of French savoir-faire.
Discover the Diversity of French Savoir-Faire
The selection showcases both established maisons and emerging brands that embody the diversity of today’s French creative landscape. Together, they offer a contemporary vision of French lifestyle, blending heritage and modernity, craftsmanship and innovation, elegance and authenticity.
Visitors will discover premium knitwear Maison Montagut with 145 years of craftmanship and expertise, France’s last historic beret manufacturer Maison Laulhère, contemporary jewellery by Chic Alors! Paris, the effortless Parisian elegance and feminine wardrobe of Grace & Mila, as well as the bohemian, poetic and craft-inspired universe of Louise Misha.
The beauty selection highlights a new generation of French skincare and cosmetics brands. Pers Skincare draws on dermatologist-led expertise to offer simplified, high-performance skincare routines. Demain Beauty combines biotechnology, probiotics and natural ingredients to support skin longevity, while Pomponne, founded by two pharmacists, reimagines make-up as skincare without compromising on performance.
In fragrance, visitors will discover the heritage of the Maison L.T. Piver, one of France’s oldest perfume houses dating back to 1774, alongside Millesève, a new niche fragrance brand inspired by nature, memories and sensory experiences.
The French art of the table will be represented by Guy Degrenne, whose iconic SALAM teapot has become a design classic. The gourmet dimension of the showcase will be brought to life by Les Chocolats des Français, famous for its artist-designed chocolate creations, and Terre d’Oc, creator of organic teas and wellness products inspired by nature and Provence.
For its first showcase in Sweden, Little Souvenir will also present a playful collection celebrating the meeting of French and Swedish cultures through iconic culinary symbols, including a special tribute to Sweden’s beloved kanelbulle.
Meet the Brands Behind the Products
As part of Pardon My French, a special industry event will take place on 21 October 2026 at the French Residence in Stockholm. Guests will be welcomed from 2:00 PM, followed by a presentation of the participating brands from 2:30 PM. The event will then continue with a networking cocktail and product discovery session, offering journalists, buyers, distributors and retailers the opportunity to meet representatives from all 14 French brands and learn more about their products, collections and expertise.
Bringing together all participating brands in one place for a single afternoon, this event offers a rare opportunity to discover the diversity of contemporary French lifestyle and establish new connections with French companies looking to expand in the Nordic market.
“French brands continue to inspire international audiences through their unique combination of creativity, craftsmanship and authenticity. Through pardon My French, we are proud to introduce 14 brands that represent the diversity and excellence of contemporary French lifestyle. We hope this showcase will create meaningful connections between French companies and Swedish consumers, retailers and industry professionals.” Lauren Alric, Trade Advisor, Business France Nordics
