About us
Business France is the public consulting business serving the international development of the French economy. It is responsible for fostering export-led growth by French businesses, as well as promoting and facilitating foreign investment in France.
It promotes France’s firms, business image and nationwide attractiveness as an investment location, and also runs the VIE international internship program.
Business France has more than 1,400 personnel, both in France and in 53 countries throughout the world.
In 2023, support from Business France made it possible to generate €3.3 billion in additional export revenues for French SMEs and mid-size companies, accounting for more than 27,111 jobs created or planned. Business France supported 58% of the 1,815 foreign investment decisions in 2023, accounting for 67% of the 59,254 jobs created or maintained nationwide.
Business France Near & Middle East main office is located in Dubai and covers 14 countries. To boost economic bilateral relations and strengthen business ties between France and the countries of the region, we organize professional events, facilitate business opportunities for French companies. Business France also supports investment projects from Near & Middle Eastern Investors looking forward to invest in France.
In the region, our experts are spread over 7 offices. They cover the following sectors: Industry & Cleantech / Lifestyle & Healthcare / Food and Beverages, Agriculture and Food Processing Industry / Tech & services / Inward Investments / Media & Communications / International internship programs.
As part of the Team France Export, we also work in collaboration with Bpifrance, and the French Chambers of Commerce in the Middle East.
Since January 2019, as part of the reform of the State support system for exports, Business France has given private partners responsibility for supporting French SMEs and mid-size companies in the following markets: Belgium, Hungary, Morocco, Norway, the Philippines, and Singapore.

We run the VIE international internship program
The VIE International Internship Program enables businesses to give candidates a temporary assignment of between 6 and 24 months in a foreign country. The scheme is open to candidates of all qualification levels not only from France but also from any other country in the European Economic Area.
