French Embassies in the Nordic countries
Established in the Nordic capital cities (Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, and Stockholm), each Embassy leads a network of French Consulates located throughout the Nordics.
Nordic Regional Economic Service
The Regional Economic Service (SER) in Stockholm is responsible for Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark. It produces information and analyses related to the Nordic countries’ economic, financial, and sectoral environment. It also monitors important information for French companies in the area or interested in these countries and companies interested in the current opportunities on the French market.
French Foreign Trade Advisors or CCEFs (Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France) are successful French businessmen and women appointed by the French Prime Minister to share their experience with other French businesses interested in developing internationally.
Team France Export
Whenever we receive leads in areas that are not covered by our expertise, or that require knowledge of very localized zones where we do not have offices, we work with a network of approved service providers to either let them handle the request directly or answer it conjointly. In the Nordic countries, we work in close collaboration with the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Oslo, as part of the Team France Export.
French International Chambers of Commerce (CCI FI)
CCI France International groups and leads 126 French Chambers of Commerce and Industry abroad (CCI FI) in 96 countries. There are four chambers of commerce in the Nordic countries, carrying out the following missions: to animate and federate the French-Nordic business community on the territory; to accompany French companies and support companies wishing to develop or establish themselves on the Nordic markets.
France’s tourism development agency, Atout France, is responsible for reinforcing the country’s position as a top international destination. It promotes France and its destinations to increase visitors and supports the development of French regions.
