SLUSH 2019 is live! French tech startups are ready to shine in the darkness
This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Finnish startup and tech scene being reinvented. Yes, we are indeed talking about SLUSH, one of the world’s most important and mind-blowing tech and startup conventions. Last year, it gathered over 1,800 investors and over 20,000 participants under the same roof. This year, Business France will bring 16 startups to SLUSH: 12 on the FrenchTech pavilion and 8 on a learning expedition.
SLUSH 2019, the year of all records
This year, the expectations are even higher: 25,000 participants including over 2,000 investors and 4,000 startups that will meet up and find potential partners to make take their business on another level and make it thrive. The coverage of the event can be considered world-wide, as there will be journalists from close to 50 countries.
Everything is bigger this year, and the French delegation makes no exception to this. Business France will welcome on its pavilion 12 companies that are either startups or scaleups, ranging from the food industry to different fields of technology. Business France also organizes learning expeditions for 8 companies at the event. During the two days of the convention, these French companies will be present to introduce their products and innovative solutions to investors and people interested in co-operating with them. Come and meet them, booths H1-H2-H4-H6 and H8!
A tailor-made program organized by Business France
The French companies will have a mentoring day in Helsinki where they will visit Vertical’s accelerator in Maria01, Ubisoft and Helsinki Business Hub before having the French tech event “Hello Darkness my old friend”. The startups have already had a coaching day in Paris with Mike Bradshaw in October to prepare their pitches specifically for Slush.
Business France is pleased, for the 6th time, to take part in this event, that will surely illuminate the Finnish capital and connect people together.
